Dear Students,
Chicago Wushu Kung Fu Academy is pleased to announce our 6th Year Anniversary. Chicago Wushu Kung Fu is happy to present a Qi Gong seminar with visiting dignitary Master Lin Jianhua (Martial Arts Historian, Author and KungFu Master) from China.
Master Lin Jianhua was born in Indonesia in 1953 and returned to China in 1954. At the age of 11, he started practicing martial arts in his hometown of Zhang Zhou in Fujian Province.
In 1973 he entered the Physical Education Dept. of Fujian Normal University to study martial arts from Master Guo Minhua. In 1979 Mr. Lin entered the Wuhan Institute of Physical Education to learn Form and Will Boxing, Bagua Zhang,Taiji Quan and other various martial art styles from Professor Wen Jiangming and Master Liu Yuhua, both famous Chinese martial artists.
Today Master Lin is dean of the Physical Education Dept. of Xiamen University in Fujian Province, China. He is also Fujian Province Chief Referee and National judge in martial arts competitions.
Master Lin has students worldwide and holds several honorable memberships of martial art associations all over the world. Many have described Master Lin as a humble and extremely sincere person to learn from.
In addition to Master Lin’s Martial Arts instruction, he has published several books in Chinese and English, the most prominent being “Form and Will Boxing: Xingyiquan One of the Big Three Internal Chinese Body Boxing Styles”.
